Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 3 procurement experts play critical roles in supporting the automotive industry by optimizing the supply chain, managing costs, ensuring quality, and driving innovation to meet the evolving needs of the market.
You will need a background buying components for Foam, Trim, Metals or complete seats
Responsibilities:
- According to the technical route planning and overseas project development needs, the candidate needs to investigate market work, collect information, and establish the supplier database and potential supporting information database.
- Optimize the resource planning and integration of existing suppliers according to the technical route planning and overseas project development requirements.
- Responsible for the price negotiation of suppliers to obtain the optimal purchase price, set the price of new project suppliers and the sub-suppliers of mass production projects to ensure the smooth development of the project and the achievement of cost objectives, adjust the price of new projects and mass production projects to ensure the smooth completion of development of the project.
- Sign relevant contracts, agreements, and performance with suppliers according to the supplier’s pricing and price adjustment to ensure the normal procurement of products.
- According to the group’s cost requirements, formulate supplier price reduction plans and conduct business negotiations to ensure continuous cost reduction.
- According to the cost requirements, remove the allocation cost of the due products and ensure the timely adjustment of the ladder price and the ownership of the mold.
Education/Work Experience Requirements:
- At least 5 years of work experience in European seat and interior decoration procurement (Germany, UK, Czech Republic)
- Ability to review quotation and cost accounting.
- Supplier negotiation ability
- Having the ability of supplier audit and audit report preparation.
- Able to communicate in business English related to car seats, interior parts, exterior parts.
- BMW procurement experience is preferred.
- Be familiar with BMW seat secondary supplier resources, understanding of local procurement legislations and regulations.
